If Temptu Temporary Tattoo Designer from Macmillin Digital is not your cup of tea, and
you wish to create custom tattoos based upon your own artwork, this inexpensive but
surprisingly powerful tool from Palladium Interactive
may fit the bill.
Like Temptu this package has a wildly different interface. Understand this software's
audience is supposed to be teenagers not corporate marketing. Actually there are two
different versions: one for boys and another for girls. We picked up our copy in the local
junk bin at Burlington for $4.95, but we consider it a find and very cool nonetheless.

Once you get past the slightly confusing interface, you can mix and match
graphics, type and backgrounds to your hearts content. It is very flexible. You can import
and use your own JPG or BMP files, so corporate logo tattoos are definitely possible here.
Unlike Temptu which allows you to upload your tattoo for fulfillment, with
Tattoo Time you are on your own using your own inkjet printer and clear labels. The final
tattoo is actually printed on transparent labels, so the ink from your inkjet printer
never actually touches your skin. In a sense, you are creating a sticker that functions as
a temporary tattoo.
In either case, having the power to create your own temporary tattoos for personal or
business events can be very, very cool.
