screen savers that have flooded the Internet and many a corporate Intranet,

screen saver.
Now they are opening up their little black box of tools to the public, so
you can make fun screen savers yourself. Image
Carousel Pro 2 features an impressive number of special effects and a
great installation routine capable of creating highly customized installations
for your screen savers.
To get started, you create an Image Pak -- a library of your
own graphics. These can be BMP or JPG files. As you add new graphics to the
Image Pak, thumbnails appear in an online catalog. You can also catalog and
add music to your Image Pak for incorporation into your screen saver.
You can add on screen textual comments and copyright notices
and position them anywhere on the screen. Complete textual customization of
font, color and size are available.
You can set a different special effect or wipe for every image
file you want to include in your screen saver. There are over 30 cool effects.
You can shrink larger images to fit the screen, or enlarge
smaller images to fill the screen. You can display them in random order, add edge
fades, show captions and even add sounds and music.
Creating an installation packages is equally easy. A simple
wizard takes you step by step through the process. You can create a standard
SCR file or a complete self-installing EXE file for downloading from your web
site.
Using the helpful wizard, you can add titles and textual
instructions, your company name, an About box, a splash screen and web link.
It really does not get much easier than this.
While Image
Carousel Pro 2 does not enable you to add animated sprites or parallel
effects, it does an excellent job of creating photo screen savers using some
really nice wipes. Ease of use is very important and their wizard shows great
care in its design.
