The folks at DPA
Software (aka developers of Frontlook
1, 2, and 3) never fail to amaze and amuse me. This time out they have
released a new, easy-to-use, graphic add-in for FrontPage which adds full page
animation, animated cursors, and splash screens to your FrontPage web sites.
As you can see from this review page, you can add a fish tank to your
web page. You can also add snowflakes, falling leaves, American flags, and
other variations. If full page animation is not your bag, then you can add any
of a number of animated cursors -- you know, those pesky little critters that
follow your mouse pointer wherever you drag it on the page. Or you can take
the splash page route and apply a combination of these effects all at once.

How easy is this? You're looking at the interface above. You
simply select the effects you want to apply, adjust the speed, and preview
them. When you save the effect, the required code and graphics get uploaded to
your server. Over. Done. Took me 15 seconds to add this nifty fish tank to
this page.
As usual, Frontlook
FX is fully integrated with FrontPage, to make it easy as pie. It will
work with virtually any version of FrontPage or Windows 98 and higher. Anyone
with a browser over version 4.0 (Netscape or IE) can see the effects.
Is Frontlook
FX for you? Hey, at the introductory price of $39.95 this is a steal.
Why become a JavaScript scavenger and waste time trying to customize the code
yourself when you can simply select these effects from a menu and instantly
add them to your web pages? You can download a sampler to test on your system
by clicking here.
Go get it. Now. What are you waiting for? Go.
