How can I add additional LaserWriter-compatible printer models to the BeOS?

  1. Download (or otherwise acquire) to your BeOS system the PPD file for your particular printer model

  2. Move it to the /boot/beos/etc/ppd/ directory

The printer model should now be available in the Add Apple LaserWriter Compatible dialog of the Printers preference application.
