My multiprocessor logic board with only one processor doesn't boot. What's wrong?

This is a bug in BeOS Release 3.x, where bugs in the BIOS of some multiprocessor systems result in the BeOS not running on some systems with only a single processor.

We have fixed the issue in BeOS Release 4. If you're trying to use an earlier version of the BeOS, you'll want to upgrade. If you're experiencing this problem with R4, please report this bug, so we can fix it ASAP:
