The BeOS Release 4 for Intel Pentium systems is currently available for purchase. Release 4 includes both Intel Pentium and PowerPC versions -- 2 CDs and one floppy disk, and a printed user's guide.

OS supporting most popular hardware with hundreds of commercial-
quality applications (although that's where we aim to be in the
future).
- We support a popular, but limited range of hardware with this release.
Please verify that your configuration is supported, by checking the BeOS Ready List.
- If you are hesitant about installing a new disk drive for the BeOS in your machine, or about using our bundled partitioning tools (Intel version only) to create a partition for the BeOS, it's safer not to proceed. We don't want you to risk losing your data.
