Marc
Verstaen , CEO
Marc Verstaen founded Beatware in
1997. Under his leadership as CEO
and Chief Technologist, Beatware completed
and released four software applications
software products for the Be OS and
the Apple clone market in the first
18 months of Beatware's lifeexistence.
In 1998, Marc identified Internet
motion graphics productivity tools
as a grossly under-serviced market.
He developed a unique architecture
for a suite of products. He built
and managed a team to deliver products
that work with Adobe, Microsoft and
Macromedia products across both Apple
and PC platforms. Under Marc's
leadership, the Beatware team delivered
four complex products in less than
12 months.
Prior to founding
Beatware, Marc founded and led Lorienne
SA to a preeminent position in the
digital cartography market in Europe.
Marc continues to provide guidance
to Lorienne as member of the Board
of Directors.
Marc graduated
from Ecole Nationale Supérieure
de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA)
in 1984. He has had fifteen years
of success in building and managing
highly effective software development
teams who have developed and delivered
twelve major software application
projects.
John Barman, Vice President, Product
Marketing
John Barman has degrees in Computer
Systems Engineering and Quantitative
Economics from Stanford University
and 13 years experience in software
development and product management.
Prior to joining Beatware, John served
as product manager with Platinum Technology.
John brings with him strong technical
knowledge combined with years of experience
in understanding and meeting consumers
computing and support needs.
Xavier Ducrohet, Vice President,
Engineering
Xavier Ducrohet has a Master in Computer
Science from the Ecole Francaise d'
Electronique et d'Informatique. Xavier
has 10 years experience in software
engineering acquired on various operating
systems and platforms. Xavier has
already brought several software applications
to market and has been key in designing
e-Picture Pro since its creation.
