My Riva TNT card isn't working

Situation:

An nVidia Riva TNT based video card is not using color in the BeOS.

The card is giving me color all right, but they uh... aren't the colors I expected.

Things to try:

The 'install-tnt-driver.sh' file is a bash script and it cannot be run from within the Tracker interface (as an icon) without some tweaking. It also needs to be run from the correct directory. Put your Release 4 CD in the computer, and in a Terminal window type the following three lines:

cd "/BeOS R4 Intel/optional/experimental/drivers/graphics/RIVA TNT"
install-tnt-driver.sh
mimeset -all

The script will then start corrently and do the correct installation.

Resolution:

If after this, you are still having problems, remember these drivers are still experimental and unsupported. Keep an eye out for the next update of the BeOS. You'll be pleasently surprised.
