My Matrox card won't go to higher refresh rates

Situation:

Matrox cards, most notably the G200 processor line, will not go to the higher refresh rates at higher resolutions.

This was a limitation of the Release 4 driver.

Resolution:

We have learned to work around it, but it requires the rest of the next update of the BeOS to work. We'll be releasing the update once we're sure it's ready for you.
