Description:
This is the third BETA of the Sensor2 application. This application is designed to show the status of your computer's LM78 sensor (if it has one). It has not been tested with a wide range of motherboards so don't be suprised if it doesn't work with yours. This version is basically a port of the original R3 Sensor application by Mathias Agopian to R4. We've also added some settings (accessible by right- clicking on the main view) and bundled our R4 port of Kazuki Sakamoto's R3 lm78 driver. Changes in Beta 3 (5/3/99): * Now has deskbar option. From a Terminal window or shell script run "Sensor2 --deskbar" to place a temperature reading in the deskbar. Or place "/boot/apps/Sensor2/Sensor2 --deskbar &" in your "UserBootscript" file to have Sensor2 installed in the deskbar when you boot (you may need to adjust that path depending on your install location). The temp shown in the Deskbar is in Celsius... more options coming... * Changed naming of Fan RPM readings. These were not correctly named for all motherboard configurations. Now they are referred to as Fan One, Fan Two and Fan Three. For example, on my particular configuration, Fan 1 is absent and Fan 2 and 3 are my CPU fans. * Again made the icon look slightly less like a beaker... Mirror Download Sites:
