Description:

Do you have broken links on your desktop? Have you made symbolic
links to your favorite files and folders, then moved those targets to
another location? What happened to all your nice links? Tracker
says, "There was an error resolving the link."

FixLink is a program that will repair broken and unattached symbolic
links. FixLink works either from the command line,
                 $ FixLink brokenLink newTarget
from the desktop, or as a Tracker Add-On.

In FixLink 1.4, the program puts up a list of potential,
similarly-named files to which the broken symbolic link may be
attached.

FixLink is self-installing. The default installation will also
set up FixLink as a Tracker add-on. Use <cmd><option>-L to fix
any link.
