Description:
This kit consists of the POSIX <semaphores.h> header file, the libmoreposix shared library, and the moreposix_server. Note that the server is only required for persistant, "named" POSIX semaphore support. Helpful for writting slightly more portable code or to port existing POSIX apps which use these functions. New code for BeOS will probably use the BeOS kernel directly (see <OS.h>) as it's nicer to use: cleaner and more powerful. I wrote this for some embedded systems work I'm doing... I'll probably add POSIX mqueue support and a fake pthreads layer sometime.
