Contained in this .zip is documentation, source, and headers for a 
class library to make dealing with the Storage Kit easier.

The first class models a file system attribute using BPositionIO.  
They are easy to construct and manipulate, and you can even flatten 
BMessages right into them.

The next two classes model the node monitor (or directory monitor) in 
a convenient C++ class.  Rather than add yet more stuff to your 
crowded message loop you inherit from this class, and override the 
functions for the notifications you're interested in.

Though using these features of the storage kit is now easier, some 
efficiency is lost: the Attribute can be expensive on memory for 
large attributes, and the node monitors may consume a few more 
processor cycles than rolling your own.  

The source is there, so you can make any changes you need.  The terms 
of use are generous but not "do what you want with it".
