Description:
LPMud is a popular variant of the MUD games, the multi-user network adventure games and other text-based applications. The gamedriver implements a text-based world in which players can interact with each other and the simulated world. The description and behaviour of the world is defined by the 'mudlib', a (huge) set of programs written in the gamedriver's internal programming language (a C variant). LDMud is a 'slow burn' project to clean up and improve the original LPMud gamedriver, originally written by Lars Pensjoe and Joern Rennecke. The archive contains binaries for both PowerPC and x86, plus the collected driver docs. It does not contain any mudlib. The sources (about 1.6MB) are available in a second archive on either <ftp://ftp.be.com/contrib/games/ldmud-326.zip> or <http://www.bearnip.com/data/ldmud-326.zip>. To recompile the driver you also need the byacc parser generator. Mirror Download Sites:
