Description:
SCSItape is a driver for SCSI-2 streaming tape devices. It is intended to be UNIX compatible. I have tested it on a Seagate 4326 DDS-2 drive; comments about its behavior with other drives will be appreciated. Full source (GPL) and documentation is included in the archive. New in version 1.3: Tape positioning, some fixes for Intel support (still untested).
