Description:
GDB is the GNU Debugger. It is a source level debugger that is amazingly feature filled. It supports multiple threads, thread specific breakpoints and watchpoints, conditional breakpoints, etc. This is a major update to my GDB port, as we merged the source to 4.17.87 (which will become 4.18 in a few weeks), and i fixed every reported bug. If you are tired or annoyed by trying to use BDB to actually get things done, try this (It won't crash, either). However, it has a command line interface, which will take about an hour to learn, maximum, and isn't archaic to use. For those who have a machine not running BeOS around, and know what DDD is, you can use DDD to debug your BeOS apps, email me for details. For those interested in remote debugging (IE over TCP/IP or a serial line, such as a modem), email me for details I've included a readme in the archive that answers the common questions i get, please read it before emailing me questions, I will simply delete any email that contains a question that is answered there. If you have any questions about the information provided for a specific application, please e-mail the author. If you have any questions about the BeWare pages themselves, though, feel free to e-mail webmaster@be.com. | ||||||
