Description: Betelgeuse is a set of classes for doing threading and syncrhonization. It includes classes for launching and manipulating threads, mutexes, reader/writer locks (two implementations, depending on your sensitivity to kernel resource usage), and an implementation of synchronization via monitors and conditions.
