BeVC is a simple graphical source code control application for the BeOS. Using the concept of "modules" or groups of related source code files, BeVC keeps track of who checked out a module. When you check out a module, it locks it so no one else can check out the module until you check it back in, making your modifications to the shared source tree. The modules are stored in a "repository." When using BeVC you have the option of using a local or remote repository. If you are using a local repository others with access to the repository may connect to you copy of BeVC using message_daemon to send networked BMessages. The user hosting the repository has the ability to set access privleges within BeVC. Additionally message_daemon has a security level built-in which you can set access to your machine on a host level. Refer to the message_daemon page for more on it's usage. The source for BeVC is included as a sample project/repository.
