Description:
maplay 1.2+ is a MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 LSF (layer 1, 2 and 3) audio player. This is a command line tool, but it has some abilities like decoding left or right channel only, downmixing and saving the decoded data to a file. It's becoming more and more efficient. On my BeBox 133, it takes less than 18% cpu time when downmixing (but the sound is still excellent).
