Description:

I had just gotten a MIDI cable for my AWE64 card and wanted to
know if my MIDI port worked at all. There was no R4 Intel MIDI
software that I was able to download and play with that was simple
enough for me to be sure it was working.

Ficus Kirkpatrick kindly posted a small snippet on BeDevTalk and
I fixed it up a little bit.

This is a very tiny application. You can use it to tell that
you're getting MIDI output, to test your cabling and adapter and
stuff, and as a simple programming example if you're new to programming
MIDI like I am.
