File: dosFS_1.4_x86.pkg Author: Andreas Huber (hubera@forwiss.uni-passau.de) Release: R3 1.4 (April, 30th, 1998) Compatibility: R3 x86 Location: contrib/add-ons/kernel_filesystem Description: dos filesystem-addon Notes: This is the dos filesystem-addon V1.4, still read-only, but now featuring mime-type support for a couple of known extensions (txt,jpg,tif,bat,htm,...) and long-filename support. FAT32 is also implemented although not thoroughly tested (you won't damage your disk, though). Drop "dos" and "dos.xMAP" into /boot/home/config/add-ons/kernel/ file_systems (you may have to create some subpaths before) Enjoy and please keep me informed of any occurring problems, Cheers, Andreas (hubera@forwiss.uni-passau.de) P.S.: Please do _not_ blame me for any harm your disks may suffer, I try to make certain that this will never happen, but, ..., you are warned.
