Job Opening - Menlo Park

Trade Show and Events Coordinator

This person will be responsible for the management and organization of trade-shows and events. The position will report to the Marketing Communications Manager.

The successful candidate will have three plus years experience of organizing trade shows and excellent organizational skills. He/she will be able to successfully implement each trade-show marketing plan and ensure that budgets are met. He/she will be able to work efficiently with outside vendors and other Be employees in all departments. This person will be able to work within tight deadlines and handle multiple projects. Experience with the design and production of collateral a plus. Proficiency with Excel, Word, FileMaker Pro and good computer skills required. Typical tasks will include:

  • researching and obtaining information on trade-show
  • preparing trade-show budgets
  • working with vendors and show services preparing trade-shows
  • preparing trade show staff schedules
  • organizing travel and hotel reservations
  • working with exhibit house
  • preparing trade show material
  • preparing schedules for projects
  • coordinating collateral projects working with designer, writer, and production team on collateral
