The Marketing Technician will work for both the Marketing and
Developer Relations teams. The successful candidate will be
responsible for the design, ordering, assembly, and
maintenance of Be's trade show demo computer equipment. This
person will work closely with our engineers, evangelists,
and event coordinators to create the ultimate Be demo
systems within a budget.
In addition to creating the overall look, feel and sound of
the hardware set-up, this person will also work with all
departments, including Finance, to maintain a library of
current Be Demo Station software. This candidate will be
able to gather appropriate BeOS software and create a
template and demo scripts for an awe inspiring demo.
Evangelists, sales people, and certain marketing team
members will use these demos at Be's headquarters and on the
road.
Occasional travel may be necessary.
Skills:
Experienced at building, maintaining, and networking PC
systems (PowerPC is a plus). Knowledgeable about quality
audio, video, and various peripherals needed for demos.
Capable of burning CDs. Solid organizational skills.
Intimate knowledge of the BeOS is a huge plus.
This is a four month contract position with the possibility
of becoming permanent.
